**We will be working at the Penndel Food Pantry again at the end of July, and we could use your help. As we did in May, we would like to collect food to bring to the pantry. Lenape Indian Pow Wow (Volunteer Event)

Volunteer to help out at this fun family event held at Core Creek Park. Our duties may be to sell admission tickets, sell tickets for the kiddie rides, or to help with clean up. Sign up to volunteer on Saturday, Sunday, or both!!

The Grange Fair (Social Event)

A visit to the Grange Fair promises to be enjoyable and nostalgic. This will be the 60th annual fair. Good food, entertainment, some farm animals, and crafts are all part of the fair. Scheduled musical entertainment for this evening is the Van Dells.



Meet at the Churchville Nature Center at 6:00 PM to carpool to the fair. Please note: This is an outdoor event, so it is weather dependent.

The Grange Fair (Volunteer Event)

Date: 08-17-08 (Sunday) Time: choose a shift

Volunteer to give out information about the Churchville Nature Center at the Grange Fair. We will need two or three people to work at the station during each shift.

The shifts are:
10:00 AM--12:00 PM
12:00 PM--2:00 PM
2:00 PM--5:00 PM
Volunteers will have free entrance into the fair, and there should be free time to browse the fair during your shift.

Tuesday Dinner Meeting

Instead of meeting at the Churchville Nature Center, we eat at a restaurant every third Tuesday of the month. Come and join us for food, fun, and conversation. Our August dinner meeting will be held at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Langhorne. If the weather is nice, we will try to sit outside.

Aid for Friends (Volunteer Event)

We are going to Citizens Bank Park to watch the Phillies vs. the LA Dodgers. Come out and support the Phillies!! We will meet at the Churchville Nature Center at 5:00 PM to carpool to the game.

Linconia Community Center Golf Outing (Volunteer Event)

The Linconia Community Center supports the needs of the community (Trevose area) through outreach and social services. This golf outing will take place at the Bensalem Country Club, and will benefit the Liconia Center.

As volunteers, we would provide help in running the golf outing in a variety of ways. More information about shifts and duties will be provided soon.
