About Single Volunteers of Bucks County

CORONAVIRUS ALERT 10/14/2021:  WE RESUMED EVENTS THIS PAST SPRING. SOME EVENTS REQUIRE A FACE MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCING.  PLEASE BE PREPARED.

Single Volunteers of Bucks County (SVBC) is a group of busy, energetic individuals who enjoy making a difference in our communities and meeting new friends.  Married volunteers are welcome.

To see our upcoming volunteer projects and how you can join in the fun of volunteering, please see the listings under “Upcoming Events“.

SVBC is not a dating or matchmaking service. It is an opportunity to do volunteer work and meet other volunteers.  We don’t release personal information to any organization.

SVBC was formed by Marge Meehan and Charlene Briegel in June 1998. It is modeled after the National Organization, Single Volunteers of America.

Know of an organization that needs our help? Please fill out the form at “Request Volunteers” to submit your information.

Becoming a Volunteer is easy. Membership to SVBC is free. All we ask is your time to do community work. We do not require you to do a certain number of events as we know how busy life can be. To join, simply show up at a meeting or you can help us at an event- but please email us prior to the event so we sign you up. Our email address is svbc411@gmail.com. You can receive regular e-mail notifications about upcoming events. Click here to sign up.
