The Churchville Nature Center is holding their annual Arthropalooza (insect and bug exhibits) this weekend. They sent an email to their volunteers asking for help. Two shifts are available each day. On Saturday, it’s 10:00 to 1:30. and 1:00 to 4:30. On Sunday, it’s 10:00 to 1:30 and 1:00 to 5:00. Traditionally it’s been an outdoor event so prepare accordingly. * Five Mile WoodsFive Mile Woods
Time: 9:00 am
The Friends of Five Mile Woods workdays will be the second Saturday of each month from March to November. The event is open to the public. Meet at 9:00am at the park headquarters located on Big Oak Road in Lower Makefield Township. As in the past, participants will work on the trails, pick up trash and do general maintenance. This is a weather dependent event, and will be cancelled if the weather is bad.
