The Catholic Daughters of America requested our help at their Designer Bag Bingo Event. The time is 6:00pm to 9:00pm, and the location is St. Mark’s School Hall, 1024 Radcliffe St., Bristol PA. As in the past, they would like us to help with the 50-50 and Raffles. So we only need about five volunteers. Money raised goes to various charities in Lower Bucks County. The Friends of Five Mile Woods workdays will be the second Saturday of each month from March to October. The event is open to the public. Meet at 9:00am at the park headquarters located on Big Oak Road in Lower Makefield Township. As in the past, participants will work on the trails, pick up trash and do general maintenance. This is a weather dependent event, and will be cancelled if the weather is bad.

The Friends of Levittown Library is having a Book Sale and Flea Market at the Levittown Library, 7311 New Falls Rd, Levittown PA. Volunteers are needed to help run the refreshment stand and the Library’s Flea Market table. Time is 7:00am to 2:00pm, but shifts are available. Lunch of pretzels, hot dogs and soda will be provided as well as a coupon to help pay for books. This is an outdoor event so dress appropriately.
